Terms of service

1. Who we are

RenoRates (renorates.sg, the “Service”) is owned and operated by Eurekads Pte. Ltd.(UEN 202232322N), a company incorporated in Singapore (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@renorates.sg.

2. Agreement to these terms

By using the Service, including uploading a quotation or viewing a report, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. What RenoRates is

RenoRates is an informational benchmarking tool. Reports compare your quotation's line items against a curated database of Singapore renovation rate ranges, using automated analysis. Reports are independent estimates only. They are not a professional valuation, quantity survey, or financial, legal or construction advice, and must not be relied on as such. Engage licensed professionals where professional advice is required.

4. What RenoRates is not

We audit quotations, not contractors. Reports never name, rate or recommend firms, and nothing in a report is a statement about any firm's quality, honesty or workmanship. Pricing verdicts describe line items against market ranges only. No firm pays us for placement, leads or outcomes.

5. Payments, billing and refunds

The full audit is a one-time S$49 payment. The Project Pass is a one-time S$99 payment (or a S$50 upgrade from a paid audit) covering up to 10 quote documents for the same renovation project for 12 months. Prices are in Singapore dollars. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details.

Our guarantee: if your audit finds nothing worth negotiating, it's free. If your full audit surfaces no flags and no negotiation points at all, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full.

Otherwise, because reports are digital products delivered immediately on purchase, fees are generally not refundable once your full audit has been generated. If something went wrong, a failed or unusable analysis, a duplicate charge, or access you paid for but did not receive, contact hello@renorates.sg within 14 days of purchase and we will review it promptly and in good faith. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under Singapore consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

6. Your upload and your responsibilities

You confirm that you have the right to upload each document you submit and that doing so breaches no confidentiality obligation you owe to anyone. You must not upload content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share. Report links are private, unguessable URLs, keep them confidential; anyone with a link can view that report.

7. Acceptable use

You must not: (a) access the Service by automated means or bulk upload except through the interface we provide; (b) resell, republish or offer our reports or database as your own product or service; (c) reverse engineer, scrape or extract our benchmark data; (d) use the Service to build a competing dataset; or (e) interfere with the operation or security of the Service. We may throttle, suspend or refuse service where we reasonably believe this section is being breached, and may cancel and refund an order instead of fulfilling it.

8. Use of your quote data

Uploaded quote files are stored privately and used only to produce your analysis; you can ask us to delete them at any time. By using the Service you agree that the anonymised line items extracted from your quote, work descriptions, quantities and prices, with no names, contact details, addresses, signatures or firm identities, are retained in our Singapore renovation rates database to improve benchmarking for everyone. This data is never sold or shared with contractors, interior designers or any third party. Personal data is handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including our benchmark database, methodology, software, branding and report formats, belongs to us or our licensors. Your report is licensed to you for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with your renovation project; you may share it with the people involved in that project (your household, co-owners, your contractor). All other rights are reserved. Your quotation remains yours.

10. Accuracy, disclaimers and liability

Extraction and benchmarking are automated and may contain errors; ranges reflect typical cases, not every legitimate price. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your renovation decisions, which firm to engage, what to sign, what to pay, remain entirely your own, and we accept no responsibility for the performance, conduct or solvency of any contractor or firm you deal with.

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law: (a) we exclude all warranties, conditions and terms implied by statute or common law; (b) we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of savings you expected to negotiate, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss; and (c) our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Singapore law, including under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.

11. Third-party services

Payments are processed by Stripe and are additionally subject to Stripe's terms. Emails are delivered by third-party email infrastructure. We are not responsible for outages of third-party providers, though we will always try to put things right.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or withdraw access to reports or the Service where these terms are materially breached or where required by law. Where you have paid for access and are not in breach, we will either restore access or refund the affected purchase.

13. Changes

We may update the Service and these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies, with its last-updated date shown above; material changes will be flagged on the site. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance. Purchases are governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
